Come as you are. Motherhood, new babies, growing families, first birthdays and other milestones, couples, brands, weddings, and the events that matter. I work with real people at real moments, not stock poses. A nervous mum-to-be, a toddler who won't sit still for love nor money, a couple who go stiff the second a camera's out, a brand that wants images which finally feel like them: if you've ever dreaded being in front of a camera, you're exactly who I love working with.
Every shoot starts the same way: no forced poses, no "chin up, shoulders back." We go at your pace, somewhere that feels like you whether it's at my cosy Hastings studio, your own home/workspace, outdoors along the coast, or wherever the day already is... and I only step in with direction when it actually helps. The rest just happens, while I quietly catch it. That's where the magic is!
My Approach
My approach is documentary at heart, lifestyle photography that favours real connection over posed perfection. I work child-led and human / pace-led: no forced smiles, no stiff instructions, just space for you, your family, or your day to unfold naturally while I quietly capture it.
I'll always step in with gentle direction when it actually helps, a soft nudge here, a suggestion there, but the best moments usually happen when nobody's trying too hard. Whether it's a maternity session in a local Hastings field, a newborn shoot at home, or a wedding along the East Sussex coast, the aim is always the same: photographs that feel like you, not like a stock image.
That being said, I do also love some posing where it feels right... if it is appropriote.

I've built up an extensive wardrobe and prop library over the years, motherhood and baby clothing alongside hand-picked props for every kind of session: wooden planes, cakes, teddies, bubbles, animals, and plenty more besides. Product photography props of many kinds. Tailored backdrops can be arranged too, so your set-up feels bespoke rather than off-the-shelf. What is not on the website is my drinks and cocktail content creation library of items which includes various glassware, cocktail kits and accessories.
New pieces arrive all the time, so what's shown never quite tells the full story and is primarly arranged for families and individuals to select from before their sesions. If you've spotted something on my socials, or have an idea in your head that isn't listed here, just ask, there's a good chance I already have it, or can track it down before your session.
